Long Time, No See

Hat/Top/ Bangles: Old Navy
Skirt: Modcloth (similar)
Shoes: Rue 21
Necklace: Jewelmint
Lipstick: Rimmel London Kate Moss Matte in 111
Well after a few months of absence and many a changes, I am pleased to announce that I'M BAAAACK. *cue the classic creepy screeching noise that sends shivers down the spine* You know the one. Anywho you may or may not have noticed a few changes around this little area of the blog world. First one being:
NAME CHANGE!
I know, I know, switching things up on you is not very polite, but trust me I think it is for the best. The we has gone to I (#2) and instead of Beauties, Bliss, and Bears... Oh My! I now operate under the significantly simpler name of Oh My Bliss.

#3 The blog has undergone a MAJOR facelift. I had a brilliant artist/ blogger named Sianna design my blogger banner, and I must say she did a smashing job.

#4 Fly Fridays, yes you read me correctly, Fly Fridays are to become a thing. This will be the day that I share my outfit posts with you lovely humans, and it should help me post regularly as well. I am completely aware that I am about the least fly person on this earth, but hey let me dream.

#5 Lastly I have a new resident photographer. Her name is Taylor and she is an awesome California kid. I'm excited to get to work with her more and to get more comfortable taking pictures with her!

On to the outfit. This particular photo shoot ended up getting plastered all over this blog: blogger banner, the 'about the blog' blurb photo, and it even makes an appearance in the meet the writer section as well. It is everywhere. I feel sorry for my poor Instagram followers; they've seen quite a few shots from it.

Regardless I absolutely love this outfit. I'm a sucker for anything that features red + navy (and yes the striped top is navy, not black). I first put this little look together around Easter/ Kentucky Derby time and I felt that it was quite fitting given the circumstances.

The floppy hat even landed me a spot in one of Modcloth's blog posts!

With the Fourth of July rapidly approaching (where has the time gone?), I figured this would be the perfect time to debut this patriotic ensemble. I personally believe that it is difficult to go wrong with such classic pieces. So grab your stars and your stripes and have yourself a wonderful time next week!

Thank you so much for tuning into my 'big reveal' and for sticking around during the months the blog was under construction; it means the world to me. Y'all are the best.

Stay Golden,

xxCaitlin.
